Hello Sorrento!

In September, I had the incredible opportunity to explore one of Italy’s most stunning destinations: the Amalfi Coast. Picture winding coastal roads, colorful cliffside villages, and endless views of the sparkling Mediterranean. From the charming streets of Positano to the lemon-scented air of Sorrento, every moment felt like a postcard come to life. With perfect weather, fewer crowds, and the magic of late summer lingering in the air, September turned out to be the ideal time to experience this breathtaking region. Here's a peek into my unforgettable journey along the Amalfi Coast!

Day 1

We arrived in Naples and met Diego, our friendly driver, who whisked us away to Sorrento in style. Our Airbnb? Right in the heart of the city—couldn't have picked a better spot!

First stop: Semola Pasta Bar for a mouthwatering meal. Think Caprese salad, cacio e pepe, and the most delicious pasta alla Nerano. Talk about a perfect first meal in Italy!

After filling up, we wandered around, soaking in the vibe of this charming town. Once we were all freshened up, it was time for dinner at the iconic Donna Sofia—the perfect end to day one in Italy!

Day 2

We kicked off the day with breakfast at Radical, dining al fresco in true Italian style. The menu? An Avo Bagel, Cappuccino, Acai Bowl, and some freshly squeezed orange juice.

The rest of the day was all about shopping in Sorrento, followed by a delicious lunch at Gnocchi Osteria De Famiglia. Naturally, we ordered Caprese salad and, of course, gnocchi!

That evening, things got even better with a cooking class led by the amazing Chef Enzo. It was an intimate group, and we met some wonderful people from Australia, England, Texas, and Florida. Together, we made pizza, ravioli, and the most heavenly lemon tiramisu. Chef Enzo's homemade wine and limoncello were flowing, and they were absolutely delicious!

It was one of those unforgettable days you just want to relive over and over!

Day 3

We hopped on the ferry for a day trip to the dreamy Island of Capri! First stop was a fun ride on the funicular up to the center of Capri, followed by a scenic bus ride to Anacapri. The views were stunning, and of course, we couldn't resist squeezing in a bit of shopping.

For lunch, we found ourselves at a lively outdoor café in the Grand Marina, where American music was blasting, setting the perfect fun vibe. We dug into some seriously delicious pasta—pasta alla Nerano and pasta pomodoro, a true Italian feast.

The evening was pure magic. We headed to Tavern Allegra, tucked inside a cozy cave with a guitarist playing. Dinner was a dream: fried squash blossoms, perfectly cooked sea bass, and to top it all off, a decadent crème brûlée. Talk about ending the day on a high note!
